We understand that circumstances can change. Our goal is to provide fair and transparent policies while respecting the time and resources invested by our providers and team.

Medical Evidence Assessments

Medical Evidence Assessments are professional review services.

Once an assessment has been submitted and review has begun, the service is considered in progress and is not eligible for a refund.

If a cancellation request is received before any review work has started, MRPY may review the request on a case-by-case basis.

Nexus Preparation Documents

Because Nexus Preparation Documents are digital products and educational materials, all sales are final once access has been provided or the document has been delivered.

​

Nexus Letters, DBQs, and Other Documentation Services

These services involve professional review, provider time, and case preparation.

Once work has begun on a Nexus Letter, DBQ, medical opinion, or related documentation service, the service is considered in progress and is not eligible for a refund.

If MRPY determines that a requested document cannot be completed based on the available evidence, records, or clinical findings, MRPY may, at its discretion:

• Recommend an alternative service

• Recommend additional development

• Recommend an evaluation

• Provide a partial refund

• Provide a complete refund

• Provide a credit toward another service

Any such determination will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Virtual and In-Person Evaluations

Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled without penalty if notice is provided at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled appointment time.

Changes made within twenty-four (24) hours of the appointment may be subject to a rescheduling fee.

Missed appointments or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the appointment fee.

Medical Evidence Development Services

Medical Evidence Development services often involve coordination, provider review, scheduling, records review, and third-party resources.

Because work begins shortly after engagement, refunds are generally not available once development activities have started.

Rush Services

Rush service fees are non-refundable once rush processing has been initiated.

If a client fails to provide required records, information, responses, or payment needed to begin work, rush turnaround commitments do not apply.

Additional Records and Revisions

Documents and opinions are prepared using the information available at the time of review.

If additional records, diagnoses, testing, imaging, or other evidence are submitted after completion of a service, additional review fees may apply.

Any such determination will be made on a case-by-case basis.

Each request will be reviewed individually based on the circumstances of the case, the services purchased, and the work already performed.
